My husband found this on the way home on Hwy 431 in Alabama. Too good a shot to pass up.
Well on all three the shots would have been better if you had applied the Rule of Thirds. (look it up on google if you are unfamiliar with it). The background on the first is so 'busy' that I don't think much can be done with it. As is the subject is nearly impossible to see. The second one I suggest you should be aware of any foliage overlapping your subject (flower in this case) You should have broken or cut off the offending foliage in this case. Foliage behind is OK. Also to have used a narrower depth of field would have blurred the background more so that the flower would have more clearly been the subject. I guess the third one doesn't do too much for me. But keep on shooting and learning. You'll do fine with applying a few more photo principles. You'll learn a lot of things to use on this forum too.
I kind of like the foliage hanging over, and the first shot is too busy. A blurred background would have helped here. I like the third shot, lots of color, but I might crop it down to eliminate some of the unneeded background.
