Beautiful Snowy Egret in full breeding plumage.

This beauty strutted around like he was in charge! He seems quite aware of how handsome he is. If I were a female Egret, I would be Ga-Ga over him. There were several dozens of them, but this one particular bird stood out from the crowd.

Thanks. By the way, I went towards Naples a few days ago. I did see a few Spoonbills about 3 miles past hwy 29. They were so far off in a distance that I wasn't able to get any great shots. I went to 10,000 Islands observation tower and was told that they were there the day before by the 100's-my luck. But I did get some White Pelicans and Glossy Ibis and some juvie Little Blues, so it wasn't a wasted day. I went to Big Cypress Boardwalk and also saw a Bald Eagle-again a long way off.

Sounds like it wasn't too bad. I have the same luck with spoonbills, either they were there the day before or too far away. Some day we will both get lucky
