I almost walked by this blue heron as I walked around MacIntosh Lake. Would have been a pity.

I am not sure what the small bird on the post is. Could use some help IDing it.

Can't recall name of little bird, but did you notice it appears to be finishing off a dragonfly snack?

Thank you merry Texan. This trail goes round a 400 acre lake and therefore has a lot of birds. Plenty of prairie dogs and coyotes too.
