On the road to Yellowstone a few years back, This photo NEEDED to be taken; I didn't record the location. The questions are: What is it? - Where is it? Any info will be warmly appreciated.

That is actually a house that was built totally by hand by an architect/engineer during his off time (he had a full time job). It's in the town of Wapiti approximately 29 miles from the east entrance to Yellowstone. I stayed in the motel/RV spot right next to it. I don't know if it's still occupied as I couldn't get close enough to see. The engineer passed away suddenly about 20 years ago. Before he passed away, he estimated he still had about a dozen years of construction left before he was finished.

Wow! You got a really nice shot -- & lucked out with some great cloud formations. I would be itching to use an ultra-wide like 14mm on FF from below & up close (if possible to do that). Some time could be spent experimenting with getting shots of that structure.
