Well, I got my Canon SX50 hs about a week or so ago. I haven't had much time to mess around with it but found out there is a family of foxes living close to me. They are in a gas and oil pipe line field. They have 4 kits and the parents. Took a few of them the other night and a couple this morning. I was on my way to work, so just shot them quickly. Hope you like them. I'm amazed at the zoom capabilities of this camera. The first shots, I wished I had had a tripod. It is hard to keep it still zoomed out. Oh, the little bird I threw in because he is so cute and it was the first picture I took with the camera. He was in my backyard all fluffed up trying to get warm after one of our numerous rains we have been having. Sorry California. Cheers.

I assume the 4 pictured are the kits? Hanging out together, then off on an adventure, to play and learn. Very nice shots.

Thank you for your kind comments big tex. They are fun to watch. The first time, one was jumping high into the air and pouncing on his sibling.

Hi tpharm, thanks for stopping by and commenting. The fox in the first picture to the left was the mom, that's why I called my post R rated. LOL
We have mom and pop and seven pups in our neighborhood. I got some pics with my trail camera of mom and pop under the bird feeders the other night.

Hi Sailor'smom. Thanks for the very nice comments. From what I can tell from searching on the net, the bird is a house finch. The fox are fun to watch and it is raining again with LOTS of lightning. Cheers.

Awww, those foxes are just plum out & out cute. Anyone who knows anything about me knows I love foxes. We don't seem to have the Red foxes although they are supposed to be in this state. Cute little House Finch in #1. Enjoy your new camera & show us some more of the babies if you can.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving such nice comments cameranut. The fox you have in your avatar is pretty darn cute too! I'll keep my eyes peeled for more babies. Thanks again. Cheers.
