Works for me! The gold rim of the dish actually compliments and picks up the central color of the flower, which makes it an elegant and perfect choice for the display.

I have this liking for hardwood backgrounds and find them more and more interesting.

I often stick my neck out by trying new and different things -- sometimes getting into trouble (LOL, remember the purple horses). But, that's the fun of it.

What the heck, the blossom fell off during planting, so it was a case of doing something useful with it.

I mentioned above to Gregory how this happened and Sandra thought it would look great on the dinner table. Pierre and the camera took it a step further.
