The Tree Swallows like to line their nests with goose feathers. So we went out and found some, brought them home, and stood out with them in our hands. Actually, Fred held the feathers, I the camera. It is totally amazing that these beautiful creatures will swoop down to get the feather, and not give a hoot about us. Except, when we walk out, they will fly over us to see if we have anything for them.
