Hi, I am so glad they made the American Bold Eagle our national bird,Ben Franklin wanted the turkey as our bird,That would have been a mistake!

The eagle is a scavenger, that mainly eats carrion, or what it can bully ospreys into giving up. It's call is also a measly squawk - what you hear in videos and film is a red tail hawk. The turkey is very intelligent, hard to capture or shoot, and fabulous flyer, and toms are impressive in their display. Don't confuse domestic turkeys with what Ben admired.
