Wow! My niece lives in Paige and the road leading to their home is impassable at this time. A few years back they were threatened with fires now floods! Thanks for sharing the photo's, stay safe!

Wow. Will it ever stop? Your photos show the power that flowing water has. Very dangerous. Snakes yet?

As a matter of fact one of the areas I went to had a massive infestation of Water Moccasins. I use a Jeep Wrangler w/ over-sized off road tires on it for situations like this. It's capable of navigating pretty deep stuff but I know better than to try.... Good news.... NOAA sez no Rain (1st time in 4 weeks) for a while....

The truest saying about the weather in Texas I've heard,

"It's a constant drought, with occasional flooding."

I live next to a dry creek, most of the time.

At the Byron Nelson golf tournament this past weekend they had to play a 400 yard par 4 as a 100 yard par 3 because the other 300 yards were under water ;-)

NOAA sez we are going to get a break this week. Looks like it's just in time... We are close to cresting the levees near downtown.... That would put a lot of property under ten feet of water... Is that a Martin Performing Artist? I play with a buddy that has a Dreadnaught...

No, it's a mid-level fender dread with some really nice wood on the back.

I am a true beginner....I took about 8 hrs of lessons last year, than had to put it down for about 8-9 months, so I'm trying to start up again. Someday........

Wow, you people down there are really getting hit! Hope it stops and slowly clears up for you! Good shots! When we came home today there were two mallards swimming in our parking lot! Wish I'd had my camera handy. But what we have is nothing compared to yours!
