AmericanNews.com is one of the many new satire or F**E news sites currently on the internet. Their mission is to make the Tea Party and conservatives look bad by sharing their f**e news stories. In essence, this site is like the Onion, just not funny.
What this and sites like it do is take video clips or facts from a real story and make up the rest. This does 2 things:
1.Gets people angry because they believe the story
2.Aids in discrediting alternative media

I find it highly amusing that satire must be pointed out to some folks. Surly those with an abundance of common sense can detect satire for themselves without a war on satire watchlist.

I know someone who is constantly posting articles on face book. He is a conservative and most likely a republican from the content that he post and, he is getting his news from a f**e/satire web site. If it is funny then it is satire. If not funny then it is f**e.

I've found that all of the major news outlets in the U.S. generally have their own bias and tend to ignore or downplay news items that conflict with their own agenda. That said, I question everything I see hear or read and have found that the BBC seems to have the most unbiased reporting.

It takes all kinds I guess.
Stuff like Politicus and Brietbart are what I call propaganda sites.
Some of the f**e news sites are pure satire and parody, and say so on their homepage (in small print!).
No doubt, some sites have the intent Bangee referenced, to fool and irritate gullible readers.
Guess its a consumer beware world!
