Sky assistance please

The sky is blown out somewhat. Is there a way to get it back a little? Extremely hot and sunny day.

Did you shoot this one in RAW? You may be able to get something back. Once you've exported and posted, about the only thing you can do is try to replace the background.

I selected the area of sky with the Photoshop Magic Wand set to 20. Using the paint bucket tool, I selected the sky color and filled it in. Clouds could have been added but I tried to keep it simple. Nice shot! Noticed the waterfall at lower left - that would be a nice shot too.

The white in the sky is totally blown. If it was just a white hole in the clouds I would say clone over it, but the roof etc would make that difficult. The options would seem to be either to replace the sky or to add colour as SonyA580 did.

I like the original better. It shows sky above the mountains and then clouds above that. More contrast instead just one shade of blue.
