Overlays or More Than One Image on a Frame

My new Olympus 5 Mark II allows you to overlay several images on one frame but it's cumbersome. Is there a way to do this in Lightroom 5.7, a plug-in, or another software program (not PS) that lets you put several (RAW) images onto a single frame?

No, you use Photoshop, On1 or any other layer capable software package.

Programs like Lightroom and Picasa that cannot do layers will not be able to perform the function you are looking for. You specifically state you are looking for a program that is NOT Photoshop. Is this a price issue or you just do not wish to use Photoshop. GIMP has the capabilities to blend layers and is a freeware product (and a pretty good editor at that). ACDsee and Paint Shop Pro can also blend layers but you will pay $60.00 - $80.00 depending on what sales you find. As Gene51 mentioned, OnOne has a package that does standalone layer blending. Perfect Layers can be purchased separately for @$30.00 or as part of the OnOne suite of products for @$80.00.
