Early to Mid 1900's Farm Equipment (One Unidentified)

I was going through and organising some photos from last year when I came across some shots I took at the Penn Farm Agricultural Center located in Cedar Hill State Park just outside of Dallas..... Kept meaning to go back and spend some more time there. It's a popular spot for local photographers looking for scenic backdrops for various shoots... Penn Farm was in operation for over 100 years until the land was donated to the state. There are numerous buildings, tractors & many pieces of equipment. From horse (or Mule) drawn stuff on.... Not sure what the last machine is.....

Just by looking at some of the tell tale parts, I would say it is an early model threshing machine. It has the drag line in the front at the top (right side) where the bundles of grain would be pitched into the machine. It has a fan at the bottom center of the machine to blow the chaff out of the good grain. Just to the left of the fan is an upright elevator to carry the good grain up to the top to be transferred into sacks or a wagon. The large tube laying on top of the machine is in transport position. It was raised up high to blow the straw into a pile behind the machine. It just has the overall looks of a threshing machine. By the way, your photos are very good. Have a GREAT DAY!

At first glance I too thought that it might be an early baler. But looking more closely, I agree that it might be an early combine (thresher). I hope someone can tell you for sure. Nice shots! :thumbup:

Your comments are appreciated..... I talked to a guy who actually saw one in use by his father.... A Threshing Machine.... either steam or gas (as in 'Popping Johnny')driven... The drive shaft coupling is just over the front axle and the vertical tubes were part of the chaff separating blower system.
