Don't have a clue on the ID of these, Linda, but they're certainly beautiful. I love this shot and your post work. Just perfect here.

Thank you, Angela! I googled, but I think kousa is a tree. These are little individual flowers growing up out of the mossy ground, in shade.

Edit - found it: BUNCHBERRY!

I couldn't tell by this angle, so it is not a kousa, but the flower does look similar..... I wonder what it is??

I think they like forests and cool weather - not really a Mobile Bay kind of plant :)
