The local cemetery display a flag for each veteran that is buried in the cemetery. Each flag is numbered so you can identify the person it honors. As I was starting to take the pictures a young Lady arrive with two small daughters. The got out of the car and she had them set on the steps of the office a combed their hair and took pics of them. They proceed over to the flags and noticed her posing the girls beside a flag a taken more pictures. I was there several minutes as I went to the other end I noticed that she had the younger girl beside a flag with her hand on the staff and was taken another picture. Just curious of the connection but respected the moment and did not intrude. Could it have been Their Father?
I love the second shot, and your story. I guess we will never know the relationship of the mother and daughters to the person buried. One thing for sure, there was a lot of love there that day.
