The lens has a "T" mount which means you can put it on almost any camera out there with the proper adapter. I have the same lens with a Sony Alpha mount. The only thing fixed is the 2X extender.

It's okay but, not great. I shot some pictures of the moon last night with a Vivitar Series 1 2X extender behind it & they were a bit on the soft side. The main things you have to remember is that (1) it's manual focus & (2) there is no aperture control. You shoot in either aperture priority or manual. You're stuck at f/6.3 or f/12.6 with a 2x. It doesn't focus very fast so, it's not a lens you'd use for shooting sports or anything moving with any speed.
