One of the most beautiful I've seen where the flower is isolated with black background. Really, really well done - with very pleasing composition and light - and frame.

One of big delights, for me, is to have an overcast day and use the big soft box in the sky which is terrific for color.

The joke is on me with this photo. I had my 80-400mm on the camera, and without thinking didn't change to my 105mm prime, and, shot the Dahlia. In processing I realized my this but it had started to rain. So, I have a flower shot at 400mm but no harm done.
Old age is not necessarily perilous.

Maybe you should use the 80-400mm all the time for flower shots Pierre, this one is fantastic
