The only J Class remaining, the 611 was restored to running condition at the N.C. Transportation Museum. It will be leaving next week to return to it's home in Roanoke, VA.

love the first shot.....cant believe I only live about 50 miles from Spencer and I have never been to the museum....always tell myself one of these days , but that day never seems to get here

Those are great shots! I'm hoping to be in Danville next Saturday to get a few shots when she passes through to Lynchburg and from there on to Roanoke! That is one awesome train and these are awesome photos!
