Looking to trade my Nikon D800 for a D610. 800 is just too much camera and really liked my D600. The camera is newer with 2200 actuations. Email for information or a trade.

Probably with apologies, my reason for red-flagging is a precaution which may not be warranted. You're new to the Forum (that's okay), you have provided no information about yourself (not even your country), you're wanting to trade a $1900 camera for a $1300 camera.

As for "hiding", go to the top of the page, click on "my profile", and fill in some info about yourself, especially your location.

As is, you are an unknown asking someone to mail a D610 to you and hope to receive a more valuable body in return.

A better approach (for you) would be to advertise your D800 at a killer good price, using PayPal, then buy a used D610 and buy an extra lens with the extra cash. OK?

BTW, welcome to the Forum. :)

And I do understand why a person would do this. I once traded a Bronica with lens film back and Polaroid back straight across for a used Nikon F because I wasn't using the Bronny much.

Really why in hell don't you just go back to any camera store and give them your D 8oo for a D610 . as far as to much camera for your needs , that line gives you away simply because if the d800 is to much for your needs . The
D610 is also going to be to much four needs . You can fool some of the people
Some of the time , but not all of hoggers all of the time . Don't quit your day job .

You really show ignorance Bram Child, I didn't post this to ask some dickhead for his feebleminded opinion, and as far as you know, I have serious intentions. I have no reason to walk into a camera shop only to pay for the D610, so mind your own and like your parents should have taught you, have nothing nice to say, then remain silent.

Sorry ! But is that not a strange way to get a d610 . Would it not be simpler to just sell your d800 and buy the d610 and make a couple $ besides . You can't see the strangeness in that

another question before i make drive, is the 800 a us or gray market, that would be imp for any warranty or work done, i think my 610 has 3-4 k actuations, got it from nikon when the 600 i had continued to have spots, i won't be available till later this week if you are still interested, also would throw in battery grip, and batteries if they are not the same as 800
thanks
frank
