Welcome to the "HOG" Post some pictures and let us see.
Welcome to the forum, Ralph.
If you will only be using the camera to do real estate photography (which, I assume, means pictures of houses/buildings/lots for sales brochures), then the D700 might be a little over kill. But, if you're like me and want a camera that you can carry around and do all sorts of neat and artsy stuff, then the D700 is probably one of the sweet spots. But this is just my opinion and it's worth every penny you paid for it :)
I am considering doing other things, not just real estate. But I'm in the real estate business so it is kind of a priority. Competition is getting greater and I need to be able to do a good job representing our clients homes. I think the D700 is the right price range for me so its looking pretty good based on your advice which I appreciate. I am attaching a couple of photos for comment. These were done using photomatrix Pro.
I Need all the help I can get. By the way, I took these photo's using a Nikon D3000, (+2, 0, -2) which has no AEB capability and it takes too long to do. I also used a Sigma 10X20 Wide angle Lens. Thanks
Ralph
