My latest flea market find. I just want to share this beautiful 1898 Bulls-Eye Kodak Special which in my opinion is one of the nicest example of historic cameras. The bonus on this is not only the condition, but the low production #54. One of a kind.

Mike, I've been seeing those cameras at ALL the flea markets lately!
They are Chinese knockoffs!!! But they look really authentic!

Mike, sorry to make your heart skip a beat!!
I'm just kidding, that camera is a beauty!!!
Great find. Put some film through it! ;-)

Thank you very much, I think it would be harder to find a cleaner one, maybe at the Kodak museum in Rochester.

Thank you very much, love your Chinese knockoffs, I think there is not enough $ in these to do it. The Russian did that with Leica I know a few people that got fooled that way.

Actually I bought 2 cameras from the person for $300. The posted Kodak and the second one is a sub miniature Russian spy camera which was made for the KGB, spring wound motor driven, no name so to research is tough with only numbers. It is well worn but it still works with 35mm film sliced in half.

Exceptionally nice-looking rarity! But how many megapixels on the view screen? And do you think LR 5 or 6 will recognize its image files? Seriously, congratulations on the find.

What is amazing is that with the little machinery they had to produce something that perfect.
