Saturation and Brilliant Colors

This photo was taken with a relatively new-to-me lens, a Pentax DA-50mm f:1.8. It has proven itself several times by providing some stunning color saturation and remarkable sharpness. Perhaps more than any other lens I own. It's said that this quality comes from a new coating Pentax has developed for their glass. Whatever it is, I sure like it!

Wonderful saturated color and a composition that invokes a pine tree in the deep forest (but only if you squint a lot). Good stuff Dewman.
