Jupiter, Gemini and Venus

I was letting the dog out for one last dribble last night about 10:45 and saw this. Quickly taken as Venus was disappearing behind a tree with my new 35mm DX f/1.8G. ISO 3200, 1/2s, @1.8 braced on the back of a lawn chair.

I will bust out the tripod and try better tonite.

Thanks! I mainly wanted to see if it would all fit in the lens. I think I like that lens...

I had that lens too and really liked it's contrast and clarity.

Noooo. Holding camera on top of a lawn chair. Completely clouded over in the last hour or so...

At 1/2 sec I have to be as far away from the camera as possible :-D

We have clear skies here, for now...
