This is what spring looks like right now. I have forgotten what the sun looks like. Memorial Day weekend is meant to be when the waterparks, theme parks, attractions and Trail Ridge Road across Rocky Mountain National Park is meant to open. But because of all the snow and rain everything has been delayed for another week or so. Oh well all this rain should bring some beautiful wildflowers out in the mountains and cut down on wild fires.
Gosh, looks like you are experiencing a real trial before the spring finally breaks in! Great shots that tell the story, Lori!

Hi Rufe,
What course is this and hole is your last photo? The water hazard, sand traps on the left and trees on the right would more than likely make this a double boggy hole for me.

Great series, I like the red wing most.
Nice comparison Rufe! And I am surprised there is no one on the course! :-)

It was suggested that I post May and June's challenge calendar so you can be reminded as to what challenges are upcoming. It is a long weekend in the U.S. and a great opportunity to get some extra photography in :-)
Thanks Mom of 2...good idea! :-)
p.s. Still have 2 opening for hosts in June

What a great series! Very well captured!! Made me feel wet and cold! You must really be tired of all that! Holy Cow! The animals looks so fed up with it all! Sure hope it turns around soon. We had the opposite here. We were able to get into our campground on May 1st and have had hardly any rain since! Almost too dry. Areas around us and into Quebec have had rain...it just keeps missing us. Hope we don't pay for this "luck".
Thank you. I bet the animals are fed up as well. Hope you get a little rain soon but not to much. We saw the sun for a little bit this afternoon. Yay.
Thank you Judy for hosting this fun challenge. I am enjoying viewing so many wonderful photos.
Barns in the winter and barns in the spring..........
You got a good one going here JJ. We are finally back home and have gotten resettled with laundry complete and grass mowed. With all the rain we encountered in our travels it is no wonder we experienced a greener travel experience on this familiar route more so than other trips to the same destinations. A few drive-bys and walk-bys showing spring has transitioned through the middle of our continent. Things you only see when spring has sprung.
New brood of goslings ...
... Pasture full of mommas and their new babies...
... blooming evidence in every state I passed through in the past 11 days.
So nice to see old barns Irene. Good comparisons too. Love the quilt pattern. We have quite a few on barns in our county too.

Welcome home! Looks like you saw lots of flowers! I would imagine the green colors are very welcome!
