Anyone have a favorite photography related App? My new iPad has so much more memory than the one before so I'm ready to download.

best app?
"Go to My PC"
Download it into your iPad and into your desktop or desktop Computer ((Mac or PC) and if your laptop or desktop at home is turned on, you'll be able to access all your images in Hard discs attached to your home computer, en PHOTOSHOP or PSElements and work on those images in Photoshop or PSElements right on your iPad.

if you also have Dropbox in both your iPad and home computer, you can upload images from your iPad (which you loaded from your camera!) to Dropbox..And then download them to whatever back-up files you choose back home...all from you iPad!

it's an incredible combination if you are on a trip or away from home...or just want to work on Photosh in your computer upstairs from your iPad while in your recliner downstaies.

THAT'S The most amazing app you can put in your iPad...hands down!

I like Photographers Tools for it's Hyper Focal Distance calculations and for calculating exposure for ND filters. The Yahoo weather app is great for giving you sunrise and sunset times wherever you are in the world as long as you have a connection.

Thanks everyone. I'm only familiar with a few of those Apps so I will certainly take the time and check the others out.

My favourite, and most useful is the ExpoDev App by TinyOctopus.

Another one is to keep a PDF version of your camera's manual on your smartphone, whether Apple, Android or Windows. I also keep Tony Northrup's Kindle book, Stunning Digital Photography on my phone as a field reference. While these aren't apps, like the Photographer's Ephemeris, which I also use, they are very helpful. Good luck!
