Goodbye David Letterman.
After 33 years he is calling it quits, last show will be tonight. Goodbye Dave, I've really enjoyed your show!
Never was much of a fan. I preferred Leno myself.
Good! We finally get rid of another left wing Obama and Clinton lover.

Good riddance to this conceited, rude, lack of talent, arrogant waste.
Sometimes I miss the old "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything" approach to communication. It was a much more civil and respectful way to deal with folks.
I enjoyed him...however...no one on late night will ever rank with Johnny Carson
I used to like Steve Allen way back when...

It's OK.
There are a lot of grumpy old farts around here. Better venting than going Postal!

So what was your point? I didn't see any of what you suggested as part of your rebuttal. To do what you suggested, would have been a lie. How that person lasted as long as he did ? Perhaps he had picture of some one important doing something with a goat under a desk. He simply wasn't a nice person!

Starting back in the 50's with Jerry Lester and Broadway Open House, please tell me how many "Stars" Letterman discovered? Where does he publicly stand in the pantheon of talent (which Letterman showed very little of)?
Jerry Lester
Steve Allen
Jack Parr
Ernie Kovacs
Johnny Carson
And how many stars did Letterman discover? Here's just a couple that, had it not been for the above may
never have ever reflected back the foot lights: Steve and Eddie, Julie Harris, Barbra Streisand, Andy Williams and here's a test of your To Night Show wisdom, what STAR was discovered by what host when she sang : "I Fell In Love With John Foster Dulles". Her initials, C.B. and it led to a bit on the Ed Sullivan Show.............CT
Very good, Heart, and who was the host?
I wonder who his guests will be tonight? I heard a few on TV guess that it might be Leno, that'd be nice.
