You can buy a used Canon 10-22mm lens for around 500$. 16-35mm equivalent on your camera. This is an EF-S lens & can only be used on a cropped sensor Canon model. But it is a awesome lens.

The new Canon 10-18 specs out better than a 10-22 and can be purchased new for about $250.
