Confederate Soldier Memorial in Salisbury NC
I got a new Macbook so that I can venture into Photoshop. So far I have been unable to download it so I am still using Picasa. I did not know one needed a degree in rocket science to operate a Mac. Now I am wondering if I would be able to handle Elements 10. I may just stick with Picasa.
Nice......love the lighting.
Nice shots you got there...
very nice shots, I love the lighting also...
Great shots. I don't about Macs but you should enjoy PSE 10.
Thanks guys! I about ready to throw this Mac out the window. I got is specifically to do photo editing which is going to be a huge learning curve for me but now I have to learn to use this operating system first. I gotta sign up for Mac school or something!

really should not be very much different than windows, both a a rip off of an operating system developed but never implimented by xerox. you will like pse 10. I love psee 9 between the guided section of the editor and the inspirational browser, there is a lot of help that comes with the program alone, not even counting youtube, and other internet sources. the thing with photoshop elements is think of it as the software version of a swiss army knife. it has tons of features some you will use all the time like the knife blade, others you will rarely use like the corkscrew. when you get it installed just start playing with it and expect to keep saying "this is so cool" when you discover a new feature.
Your photo's are about as good as you can get ...
My brother bought a Mac, Why, I don't know ...
He regret's it like you.
At least it got him off my back ....
I know nothing about them ...
Heck, just buy another computer ...
Picasa is great ! Stick with it :)

I love yours shots, the detailing really is nice and the lighting wow, I use P and have photoshop but just can't wrap my had around it. I just like a little adjustment sometimes.. Except for some of the artistic looks, I prefer to work on being a better photographer than a photo software expert. I know maybe its a cop out.

Glad you enjoyed them. I believe this statue has a "sister" in Baltimore. I think that one has a flag in the soldiers hand rather than a musket.

Fantastic pictures!! Recently retired using a PC at work and a Mac at home. Not much difference once you learn the menus. I started with iPhoto and am in the process of trying to learn PS9. If it's any help, I'm in my 7th decade and still enjoying challenges.
