Opal Loc: Southwest Michigan

I stumbled across Ugly Hedgehog while researching different questions I had on photography. I find I keep coming back to read the posts and get a better understanding of the what's and why's of great photos. I decided it was time to become a member :-) My new found hobby and passion began last year when taking pictures with a new camera at my sons football game. I needed some new photos for a slide show I was making for his father and when I made it home and reviewed my images I was hooked. I have recently moved from a nice Fuji point and shoot to my first DSLR (Nikon D3000). I look forward to learning from all of the members here and sharing experiences and knowledge.
