Anyone ever been to this before? My son and I are thinking of going. Looking for a decent hotel in the area. Don't need all the luxuries, but don't need the cockroaches either. Also, it their a good place to maybe park and see pretty good? Any info appreciated! Thanks!

My last assignment before I retired in 1988. Shot the T-birds there in 1987. One of my shots was of them bisecting a rainbow. The area has grown up a lot since then. You should be able to find a motel by doing a Google search of "motels in Goldsboro, NC". Parking then was close to the flightline. I doubt they'll let you get that close now. They may have parking well away from there & provide bus transportation to the site.
