Very neat lantern festival shots. That must have been some fun to photograph!

Wow! Of all the shots, I like the last 2 the best. No distractions and we can really appreciate the subjects.

It was. I went a couple of times at night and also once during the day. I like comparing the day time shots to the night time shots of the same thing.
A new lantern festival will be opening this month at Mo Bot (Missouri Botanical Garden). I'm looking forward to it. There's a special night for members only that I bought tickets to about 6 months ago. Will take my two daughters.
I told my husband that I won't buy anything this year.

Such beautiful shots, Collie lover, and the reflections just enhance them!
When I took the picture of the Old Courthouse and building reflected in the other building, I hadn't planned on taking a picture of that. I was on one of my "Cake Quest" adventures taking pictures of the large fiberglass cakes placed throughout the St. Louis area in celebration of the founding of St. Louis 250 years ago, as of 2014. After I took the cake pictures that I wanted, I was walking back to the parking garage to my car and stopped to take a picture of a statue of Dred Scott and his wife at the back of the Old Courthouse. That's when I saw the reflection.

Went to the first night of the new lantern festival a couple of weeks ago. Plan on going back again at night and during the day. Haven't been because it's been raining during the day. Also, want to wait until crowds are smaller.
your reflection photos are stunning....
