I wasn't going to post anything because I'm just starting out with night skies, but what the heck - I like this shot. This was from the night after the peak, just before dawn when the meteors streaked upward in the southwest sky. I barely got a break in the clouds where the brightest part of the Milky Way shows in the SSW sky.
The yellow glow in the clouds is reflected light from the Aurora mine maybe 7-8 miles up in the hills, and the red glow is from small-town lights a few miles behind me. A second, dimmer meteor and two very dim satellites can be seen full-screen.

I'm glad you posted, I love this image!
We don't get any rain here, just the clouds :-(
Very nice shot, keep them coming :-)

Very creative shot Gecko I love it.
Nice shot.
I have horrible luck with showers.
Well done.
Thank you for the kind words. As I said, I'm just (re)learning to shoot the night sky digitally, and trying to figure out the best processing (I watched two tutorials on LR/PS processing that differed greatly in technique.)
I got lucky on this one. I may sound like a fisherman if I say "you should have seen the one that got away," but it's true. The brightest meteor streaked past when I was setting up, and two other very bright ones were out of frame.
Very interesting perspective. Certainly can see how the clouds moved during the 25 sec exposure while the stars were steady.
That is such a cool image. Glad you posted Desert Gecko. Beautiful!!!
