:-P Hi, my name is Tom, I am retired from the Garden State,aka,New Jersey.
My wife Lynn and I live in Brevard,a bit North of the S.C. state line. I have been taking pictures since around 1967, I am 64 now. I started with a Canon FT-QL, now I use a Nikon D200, an old NikonD70, and I have a Nikon P 7000 as a carry around. Prior to retirement, most of my shooting was underwater 90% was macro. Now with the wide open vistas of WNC, things are very different. I am very fond of Sunrises on the Blue Ridge Parkway and all the great waterfalls in this area. That's about it, I look forward to picking up some new ideas, and methods here.

Welcome to the South! We moved here 45 years ago from NJ.
For a little different scenery, come on down to South Carolina; just a few miles south in the area around scenic Hwy. 25 and Hwy. 11.

Welcome, Tom. I moved to South Carolina with my husband 2 years ago from New Jersey. The scenery down here is so beautiful that it seemed natural to find photography as a new hobby. Enjoy your retirement :)
