Lazy approach to selling camera and lens

I just got a D750 and would like to sell my D300 and several lenses..and a Really Right Stuff pano rig. I'd like to use the proceeds to start my FX lens collection.

The apparent value of the equipment from looking at Ebay is pretty good. But, I am reluctant to do the work to list on Ebay. Unfortunately the B&H site estimates for the same equipment are considerably lower that on Ebay. (I realize they need to make a profit.)

So, any other ideas about how to (easily) sell my equipment at a price somewhere in between Ebay and B&H? See List below.

thanks

What's your problem with listing on eBay? I have sold many items on eBay and it always went smooth without any issues. It's a good place to sell!

A very reputable place to buy and sell camera gear is fredmiranda.com You have to pay a small fee to use the buy/sell feature of the site but it is well worth it. I have found that the members of the site are like Hoggers, honest and reliable.

Get an online estimate from KEH. They won't be as high as ebay, but when you consider the ebay and PP fees, it'll be close, and easier.

Ditto. I've been amazed at some of the prices I've gotten.

I've never bought anything off E-Bay. But I expect you could get more there because a lot of people seem to think that's the most inexpensive place to shop. I've never listed anything on it or Amazon for that matter but classified ads on photo site's is where I look to post something.

Never had any issues buying or selling on ebay, and I have been using them for 8 yrs. A couple of times something I bought arrived and it was not as described, it went back, no questions asked, for full refund. I sold a lens once that unknown to me had a little lube on a diaphragm blade. Took it back, issued full refund, relisted it with the defect clearly called out - sold it again for more $$$ than the original auction.

I have also had good results with Fred Miranda. Ok results with Craigslist. I am always a little nervous showing up with lots of cash to purchase something - or taking lots of cash in a sale.

Be sure to glue the postage stamps on securely - they don't always adhere well to curved hard surfaces.
