Just for fun. We all know what GAS is
that insidious craving for gear! It may take the rest of my life to acquire all the items on my GAS list; The top five items on my current dream list include (in rough order or precedence):
1. Canon 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L IS Mark II
2. ThinkTank Streetwalker Hard Drive (Camera Back Pack)
3. Sigma 50mm ART
4. Canon 100mm Macro Lens
5. Canon 600EX-RT Speedlite
This is only the top five items on my otherwise very long list. What are your top five current GAS list items?
Basil, I don't have five.
But in the next maybe two years I plan to get a Canon 500 ll.
Oh, can I count a set of Buff, Einstein's?! ;-)
SS
1. 7-14 f2.8 (comes out in June)
2. 300 f4 (comes out late 2015)
3. Em-1ii (only speculation, early 2016)
4. 40-150 f2.8
Tamron 150-600mm Sony mount if B&H ever gets them back in stock.
Tamron 15-30mm Sony mount
Sony 100mm Macro
Epson V600 scanner
Sony full frame body that has better low light capabilities than the Alpha 850. Probably an Alpha 99 or A7.
Not necessarily in that order. Plus a number of minor items like remote triggers & a bird blind to shoot birds at our feeders.
Nikon D400
Nikon 500mm AF-S II

GAS attack. My wife in attack mode after my latest purchase.....a 17-40L lens.
Don't tell her.....it's amazing how each of your lenses can all look the same in time to a non-photographer! :) :)

Sigma 50mm ART.......fully agree.
Well I'd like the Nikon 105 f2 but the 85mm 1.8 is more in my budget.
Also dreaming about the 10.5 fisheye.

I've got to right my list down! Sometimes they all look the same to me.
Just yesterday I had an attack while in a camera store and bought a used lens for $100. Got home to discover I already have that same lens!

I did something similar with a music CD this past weekend. I was shopping at a local retail store and saw a James Taylor Greatest Hits CD in the $5 bargain bin. Decided to grab it, only to discover when I got home I already had that CD!

Geez Odd, you're suffering from redundant GAS. That's the worst kind. Rumor has it, that form of gas can be financially fatal!!!
