Wow! a sobering image, the circumstances of which I greatly hesitate to ask. But you surecaptured that mood.
My one critique of image quality is that it is quite "flat"... could use a mild increase in global contrast as well as more active increase in mid-tone contrast.
A powerful, involving image that could be technically improved several notches.

What Dave has said plus I would like to see a trace of detail in their clothing, it's too black.

Thanks Graham. I really appreciate your interest and suggestion. But I don't know how to follow it. Isn't black black? Here is the original shot. Should you be inclined to fiddle with it, be sure that I'll pay close attention.

Hello Bob, Los Bravos sang in 1966 "Black is Black" so it must be true ;)
There are two large areas in your picture that are almost total black but they do have detail. I would like to see a suggestion of that detail to give some form to the shapes. Not much, just a tad.
