do bee wings oscillate...these pics were taken at 1/2000 sec and still didn't freeze them...?

I am constantly amazed by these wonderful insects! I agree that that load is amazing... Gotta flap hard and fast to stay aloft! Great shots Ron!

I've been sitting here thinking about whether or not bee wings oscillate, Ron. It's what I do late at night. LOL Not sure about bee wings, but hummingbird wings move in figure eights which enable them to hover, etc. Could be that bees be the same. :-D

All great shots, Ron. "Beeorama" is my fav, just 'cause. I think the bee is weight training.

Not sure Donna but they do have two sets of wings so they are very busy in flight...
