Dragon flight - touch & go

I went out yesterday afternoon with the express purpose of capturing dragonflies in flight. The wind was really blowing too hard for close up photography so I didn't take extension tubes. I was able to make a few captures with the 100-300 zoom lens though. Please try the downloads.

I think you fulfilled your purpose, Jim. These are super shots! Looks like a Carolina Saddlebags dragon. Hope Doc or John will see so we'll know for sure.

Thanks John, I really appreciate your visit and kind words. I am going to strive over the next month to stalk and capture a bunch of these in flight.
