You've got the cutest little baby face.
Taken as one of the dairies I pick up with my Samsung S5.
Cute, Chaostrain! I have shots like that from VA.

This must be one of those poor calves that are taken from their mothers and fed a diet that produces veal. Veal is pale because the calves are malnourished. I don't eat veal.

Nope. She's a dairy farm calf. Raised on cows milk to produce milk.
I see you're in to pure breeding dogs. Pure breeding is a form of animal cruelty. It encourages inbreeding to get the "perfect dog" and destruction of animals simply because they don't fit the mold of a "perfect dog." It's also been proven that pure bred dogs are more susceptible to diseases and birth defects that a dog must spend their lives suffering with. It's also been shown that pure bred dogs are more temperamental and more likely to attack people and other dogs. This is true for any animal that is pure bred.

Glad to know shes a dairy farm calf and not being raised for veal. She will probably live a long healthy life. Hopefully, when she gets too old to produce milk, she will be killed humanely before being made into dog or cat food.
Youve got everything wrong! The breeding of purebred dogs, or other animals, is NOT animal cruelty. The majority of those who breed purebred dogs (or other animals) love them and give them the best care. The spend time and money to produce healthy, even tempered dogs that will live long healthy lives. Its the PUPPY MILLS that mass produce litter after litter, and dont care about genetic problems, that have caused the trouble. These places see their dogs (or cats) as livestock. Something to be bred litter after litter just to produce income. They DO NOT care about the health of the animals. This has been shown on television and other places for years. These animals suffer by being kept in cages barely large enough for them to turn around. Their fur becomes matted and they have parasites and other problems. THAT IS ANIMAL CRUELTY!
The breeding of purebred dogs (or cats) doesnt encourage inbreeding nor the destruction of animals. Inbreeding is very seldom done and is done only when necessary to improve on something. Perhaps to get RID of a genetic problem and IMPROVE the quality of life for the animal.
It has NOT been proven that purebred dogs are more susceptible to diseases and birth defects and dogs DO NOT spend their lives suffering. Breedings are carefully done do ELIMINATE genetic defects. It has been proven that mixed breed dogs, even the so called designer dogs (which are overpriced mutts), are NOT healthier than purebred dogs. In fact, the opposite is quite true. Mixed breed dogs, even the designer dogs get problems from both sides and this makes the matter worse. It has NOT been shown that purebred dogs are more temperamental and more likely to attack people and other dogs. Most dogs with temperamental problems and more likely to attack people and other dogs are MIXED breeds.
There is inbreeding done in livestock to improve them so they produce more meat or milk or lay more eggs. Livestock is also bred to get the perfect animal. Otherwise, why would there be livestock shows at county and state fairs. The purpose of those shows is to find ideal breeding stock to improve the livestock.
