In Baltimore there were just a handful of firebombs (and one flaming garbage can) thrown at police. By contrast, look at the astonishing numbers below, almost none of which get reported in U.S. media.

======================================

[Arab] violence in Jerusalem continues to snowball, according to a report Tuesday - and most of the incidents are in what is defined as peacetime.

A total of 995 terror attacks against the Border Police, SWAT teams, and undercover officers were recorded throughout 2014 and through April 2015, according to Walla! News. Just 30% of the attacks were perpetrated during the period of Operation Protective Edge in Gaza.

Of those, 823 incidents was recorded during 2014 and 172 from January 2015 until April 26, 2015. Hundreds of police have been injured in these clashes, and one policeman - Border Police Superintendent Jedan Assad - died in a car rampage attack last year.

The police are the new front lines in the war on terror, according to this report. In the 16-month period, 814 Molotov cocktails have been thrown at Border Police - 666 in 2014 and 148 in 2015 thus far - and 142 explosive devices have been thrown (127 in 2014 and 15 in 2015).

Seventeen shooting incidents have unfolded involving the Border Police, with 16 in 2014 and one this year.

A total of seven stabbing attempts or attacks have been made, three in 2014 and four in 2015; and a total of 15 "car rampage" attacks (attempted or actualized) have been launched, 11 in 2014 and four in 2015.

Does that make it better? So what if they want to live like savages, does it mean that it makes it right for people in N.A. should follow suit?

Heck, no! You're correct; I wish our brethren in Baltimore and elsewhere would behave like human beings rather than merely crazed biped maniacs.

Just so happens I was in Jerusalem in February. My wife and I were walking down the street on our way to the wailing wall and we were passing the main Municipal Building when we saw a crowd gathering with a T.V. crew and some police. We thought nothing of it because it was just a week before the e******n and figured some politician was staging some event or other, so we just made our way around the crowd to our destination. Found out later that it was in fact a stabbing by a Palestinian of a young Yeshiva student, and the Mayor of Jerusalem took down the assailant while his bodyguard held his gun on him!

Just a week later we were delayed in taking the train through Jerusalem because another Arab tried to run over three soldiers with his car at a train stop. When the trains finally ran again, there were dozens of soldiers stationed all along every stop looking for trouble makers.

The big difference that I see from overseas r**ts and local is that in Jerusalem and Arab countries is that it's a religious hatred that's ongoing and will keep on for many more years.
In N.A. it's a chance to L**t. Most r**ts that you see here in N.A. starts off as a peaceful demonstration and a few agitaters start there quest to get the crowd going.
Then the r**t starts and the first on their list are liquor stores, second are electronic stores, third are drug stores, then come the torching of police vehicles and then buildings.
When all is over what did they accomplish? Most have hangovers,I guess they can watch T.V.,listen to the sterio,Ipad, etc. or better yet sell them so they can buy more booze or drugs. Maybe even rent another place to rent because they just burnt down where they were living before.

In Los Angeles, the mobs l**ted and burned down supermarkets, large drugstores, etc. After the smoke cleared, the residents complained bitterly that they were inconvenienced by not having close-by supermarkets and drugstores. This happened after both the "Watts R**ts" and the more recent 1992 "Rodney King R**ts."

BTW, to a degree, B****s were overly-blamed in the King r**ts; about half the hoodlums involved were Latino and most of them were Salvadorans. Only around half were Black.

The King r**ts were different than the Baltimore r**ts also because they were more widespread. Rather than only destroying their own neighborhoods' businesses the r****rs also hit other areas like Koreatown and Jewish areas. Samy's Camera, well away from minority neighborhoods, was l**ted and burned as were many other places far from minority areas.

Apparently in Baltimore the l**ting was mostly confined to Black areas. Possibly fewer people have cars there, compared to Los Angeles?
