There are farms under 200 and some feet of ice in Iceland. So BFD!

So you're not concerned that the, over all, size of the glaciers is shrinking?

No. Last weekend we visited an area where, 15 million years ago the second largest flood on the planet took place, Lake Bonneville! There were boulders the size of my house that were distributed from hundreds of miles away with petroglyphs made by people 100-2000 years ago. I'm not sure what good me worrying about geological and climatic changes are going to do.
Apparently you have a much larger ego than I do if you think you have the power to control that.
I am much more concerned about the impact of Iran getting a nuclear weapon and the welfare of my kids and their kids. That is something we can do something about but apparently getting some loser $15.00/hr and funding an a******n clinic is higher on folks radar!

What in my posting here gave you the impression I thought we are able to control this?

I was simply responding to the OP.

The number of glaciers, being the same, is irrelevant.

The SIZE of the glaciers, in comparison, is relevant....IMHO.

Where are we going to get our fresh water when the glaciers have receded to the point where fresh water is in short supply?

Are you drinking glacial melt now? In MO? You could start collecting those little droplets that fall from the sky....
