Hi James,
I really like what you did with that video. I also enjoyed the jazz score a lot. I can see we are both enthusiastic video makers. It's a great hobby. I have been in and out of the hospital a couple of times this past month and this is the first time I have been on UHH in a few weeks.
I had planned to do something similar with the spring flowers, possibly mixing some macro closeups with the video.

What editing program do you use?

I've done video, and I've done stills, I have a request to do a combination video for a wedding, and I haven't looked closely enough at editing programs to see one that does a good job of putting them together. I know most will do it, but I am looking for one that worked like my Premier Elements 10 (before got a new computer, and found that I lost the disk, and Adobe claims that they don't show record of me having it....stupid Adobe) That was nice, because I could load clips and photos, and it would just add transitions with whatever theme I want, and I could (for the most part) just let it do it's thing, then tweak it.

Also, I did have questions about the music too. The guy I work with got banned from Youtube for a year for having music behind a video he posted. It was from a local musician, and he had permission, but somehow Youtube still said he couldn't use it? How were you able to post with music? I see people do it all the time.... he just got caught?

I use Avid Studio 17. Many others work just as good.

I have purchased music which clearly told me that I could use it anywhere and YouTube caught it. If it is not a well known song (I only use background music) they will allow it and then tell you that you have to accept an ad.

They now have a large selection of music on their site which you can use for free. I've downloaded parts of it.
