Honestly, it's too symmetrical for me. I would like to see the bridge end in the right 1/3 of the picture. There does not seem to be any real subject.

Thanks for looking. I would be afraid to do gin and nap. at my age I wouldn't be able to get up. I thank you for the advice. Sony has a different view and I can't say he is wrong, just has a different view of the same subject. I have learned a little and appreciate the input. bud

Nice symmetry, and from that perspective is a success - sharply captured, everything aligned. My quibble is that it seems too much bridge and not enough swamp. Of course, I am a swamp rat and I long to see the trees. Does the bridge go into the trees at some point? If so it might be interesting to take one further on, with more trees, and using the bridge as more of a leading line than a subject. Of course, my swamp fixation could be getting in my way.

Honestly,
You need to straighten out those wavy boards, take a chainsaw to that white thing 1/2 way down on the left opening up a clear view of the evergreen behind it, get a pressure washer and clean off all that crud and then maybe use a ladder to get an overhead , down the line shot. Sorry, borrowed those lines from other revues. This is my first one, not even original.
Nice, it's a path leading to mystery and I get it. You did a good job. I am sure you shot this from many angles, just go with the one you like. I hope I've not offended you or anyone else.

Competent picture. Exposure, lighting, symmetry all very well done. But it needs a 'hook', a 'grabber', something interesting at the turn in the pathway. Perhaps a beautiful girl coming around the corner, or a girl in a raincoat and a red umbrella walking away around the corner, even an old duffer with a cane and a dog. As it is it is clinically competent but not very engaging.
