the last time I went out looking for birds I couldn't find any good shot, so i took a drive where I knew I would find some. I put on almost 400 miles but did get some.

Well dave, THAT's dedication to the art! It was well worth the trip. I love this photo. I don't believe I've ever seen the green eye-band portrayed quite so vividly before. Good on ya Mate!

Great shot datsmar, lovely mating pair of Great Egrets in their beautiful breeding colors and plumage, very well done
