Done With That Store!

I am in the market to buy the Sigma 18-300, f3.5 OS lens for my Nikon D7100, and they are as scarce as hens teeth. I saw that 17th Street Photo had them advertised, and said they were in stock. So, I ordered one, and even paid for expedited shipping. When my lens DID NOT arrive, I called to inquire about my order, and the gentleman I was talking to said, "Oh, I am sorry, we are all sold out of that lens." REALLY!! So, I cancelled my order, and I am forever done with 17th Street Photo....I will stick with B&H!!

Never even heard of 17th St Photo. I wonder if they are related to 42nd St Photo? Your experience may have been a simple mistake on their part. Or not. Either way, I'll stick with B&H. They are the only ones I deal with because they always have what I want and I have never had any problems.

B&H or Adorama. Both are good businesses, IMHO. I've never had an issue with either and tend to give both my business.

Had good experience with B&H, Adorama and Beach Camera. Super service and reasonable prices.
