I love macro, and it's just about what I'm OK at (unlike landscapes, portraits and other genres). You'll mostly see me in that section of the forum, though I'll flit through others from time to time if that's OK by you lot :)
I have been taking macro pictures for years, and it's reached the stage of competent I hope. Always room for improvement.
I'm hoping soon to get the new KX800 flash unit when it arrives in the UK, to compliment my current set up, which is a Yongnuo YN14-EX with home made diffusion, as well as my Yongnuo 560 III, for my 70D camera.
My lenses for macro are the Canon 100mm L IS, and the new LAOWA Venus 60mm 2:1 macro lens (but I also have the nifty fifty, Canon's 18-135 IS STM, and the Sigma 150-500 OS HSM).

Welcome Paul....
Nice to see a fresh faced macro photographer ....
as for me I'm pretty much starting out.....so I welcome another experienced macro shooter to help me along... :) :)
UHH has VERY few photographers using a LAOWA Venus 60mm 2:1 macro lens, so we are anxious to see examples of your macro work. Also, please consider posting a photo of your 60-mm macro set-up here:
