Any hogger out there familiar with Tokina lenses? Opinions? I'm thinking about getting one for my Sony A99. Do they have any full frame lenses?

Yes.
Some Tokina lenses are high quality, others are not. If you can test before buying, do so.....

I have a Tokina 100 mm Macro and a Tokina 11-16 UWA fro my Nikon.
They seem to do a great job for me. I like the auto manual focusing clutch system they employ.
Tokina 100 macro shot.

The Tokina AT-X lenses are among the best of the independent brands, optically and mechanically. Most are FX.

I had a 11-16mm and currently have two FF Tokina lenses. The IQ has been very good on all of them.
They are built well and a great value.

I have the 100mm macro and the 11-16 wide. Both are made extremely well and are razor sharp with color rendition superb. You will not be disappointed but I think their selection for Sony is rather limited. They don't have a huge lineup of lenses to begin with.

Thanks Dave - I have the 11-16 and the 100 - the 100 is usually on my camera day in and day out. ;)
I walk with my Tokina 11-16mm, wonderful lens.

I love the title of this post. Completely devoid of any clue or information as to the contents, but yet I found myself compelled by sheer curiosity, to read it.

That's probably relevant since there are few Sony A mount users.
