Sorry for posting the images that I have gotten while geocaching, but my wife loves it, and I enjoy it. Most of all I love to do things with her. With that in mind, here are a few more images while geocaching.

Welcome to UHH. Great pictures. The rock formations are outstanding. Where were they taken? Are those chipmonks? I didn't see any stripes on their sides. Several years ago, a friend painted an old building like that and in the same type of setting. I still have that picture. Thanks for sharing.

The ones from Utah are from Arches and Goblin Valley. The others are Nevada. The mammals are Ground Squirrels. They are the most common ground squirrel in the western states. Very cute when young, but can cause a lot of damage to crops for the farmers.

Thank you. I have spent a lot of hours in the field and have my own way of looking at nature, but I think everyone can get something out of spending time outdoors.

I think the thing I enjoy most about shooting in nature is the fact that I can spend a few hours shooting and never travel more than a couple of hundred yards sometimes. It doesn't have to be a Go, Go ,Go thing. I don't go on tours for that reason.

Thanks Erv. My wife keeps prodding me from cache to cache. She has no patience for the things we photographers like to shoot.

You have some very nice shots. The broad-billed is a great catch. Bet you weren't too far away from her. Humming birds, in my experience, tend to stay tight to the nest when you approach.

Yes. Once they get use to you, they sit pretty tight.

I love looking at the unspoiled beauty of this continent.
Your warm rich colors have certainly captured that.
