That is clever.
During the days of our 'Space Race' with the USSR, NASA spent several thousand dollars to develop a writing instrument, a pen that would be able to write in 'upside down' in the zero gravity of outer space. I bought one and was very proud of having one. It used an ink cartridge that was pressurized. It only cost me about $7.00 I stopped being proud of it and realized our stupidity and willingness to spend money unnecessarily when I learned the Russia solution to that problem, a pencil.
The Space Pen was invented by an American,
Paul Fisher, who, after spending his own money, sold his pressurized pen (that could write in zero gravity) for $2.95 to NASA...in 1965.
The reason why he did this is...Pencils break and flake...& a floating piece of graphite is a potential hazard.
The Mercury astronauts wrote with pencils. Later, all US flights used the Space Pen. People love stories about how we are incompetent & the Russians are brilliant...OR THE WASTING of our tax dollars...probably, why this fake story remains popular. Hope this helps.

This is a fake story. Been around for years, the only thing that's different is the amount of money wasted. You've been had.
