I struggled with the editing for this one because the original didn't provide the easiest of starting points.

Don't know what the original looked like but this is an incredible image. It has a lot of mood to it. I like the stark beauty of it.

Thank you Andrea. The original was too bright in the top left corner and in the foreground, and the mountains were too dark and hazy (difficult because brightening makes haze worse).

It would be helpful if you would post the original. I always like to see the work that is done on it. It's also nice to check 'store original' so we can see it as you see it. I know my monitor many times doesn't give the true picture.
